The Community Arts Project, believes that children learn best when they learn at their own pace and are encouraged to not only ask lots of questions, but to seek their own answers as well. Elementary school classes at CAP present a wide variety of opportunities for children to learn and perfect basic skills and concepts.

Classes are project based, with ample opportunities for children to express their individuality thru their creations.  Just as no two artists are alike, so should no two pieces of art be alike!  Classes begin with group discussion and presentation of the day's themes, skills and concepts. Students then work independently, with a teacher/facilitator exploring a variety of activities and projects. Class ends with group sharing. Class themes change each session so check back frequently to see what’s new at CAP!
